access statement for park farm »Introduction Park Farm is a working farm which offers bed and breakfast in a 3 storey traditional farmhouse. Disabled access is limited due to amount of stairs. Pre-Arrival Due to rural situation there is a lack of local public transport which is explained to guests if required. We can however offer peace and quiet to those who require it although we are close to the town. Arrival & Car Parking Facilities Ample car parking on ground level but several stairs to rooms. Main Entrance & Reception Good lighting in car park, hand rail up stairs and plenty of dog walking areas. Public Areas - General (Internal) No lifts. Bedrooms on 1st and 2nd floors. Assistance available with luggage. Public Areas - WC Fire alarm system throughout whole house, loud klaxon to warn of fire. No disabled toilet facility. Dining Room / Lounge Spacious dining area, good lighting, non smoking. Bedrooms No bedrooms suitable for wheelchair users. Fire alarm has loud klaxon. Remote control t.v and cordless kettle. Bathrooms All rooms en suite with showers. Garden and grounds Garden with sloping lawns, bench and level ground with pathway. |
